Why is the notion that disclosure can harm national security if it's quite obvious that Governments have already know what each other have discovered?

I keep hearing this as one of the main reasons governments don't disclose. Haven't they already collaborated with eachother over the last 80 something years? You're telling me China, Russia and the US kept their lips sealed with eachother? This transcends humanity and war - if China or Russia discovered NHI technology/bodies then there is no chance that the US doesn't know about it - in detail too.

What exactly is the national security threat if the US's biggest adversaries also know about NHI and have seen/captured tech and bodies?

I keep circling back that mass hysteria is the main reason. People in groups are absolutely batshit stupid. So I don't blame them for keeping this secret, I don't buy the "national security" line at all.

What's the security threat if NASA released some high def object in space? Does China/Russia not know what NASA is capable of? You're telling me NASA has special, separate non-public camera's that captured craft/beings in space that they didn't use for other purposes? The camera's on the ISS are different than the ones that captured some non-human craft/beings?

How does any of this make any sense?

Let's say "Full Disclosure" happens. Do you think all the NHI just reveal themselves?

Surely they must be watching us and would know when it happened. Does anything change? Maybe they still stay hidden. I often wonder if they truly are real how much our government know about their origins and intentions.

Looking for an honest and reputable Mechanic in Oakville - Bonus if they specialize in older Japanese cars

Hey all,

Looking at buying a mid 80's Japanese sports coupe and wanted to take it to an independent mechanic in Oakville for a thorough inspection (willing to pay for a good inspection).

There are A LOT of options so hoping people here can maybe offer some guidance.

Just started season 10...

14 years after Season 9. The filming and lighting style is what I call "modern slop".

One thing I've realized is that throughout the 90's up until the last ep of season 9 - the filming and lighting were excellent. The acting was nuanced and you didn't get too many "talking head scenes" where there's a long conversation segment of just the actors faces with the camera behind the shoulder.

Enter season 10 and yea everything is wore.

Darker (as in lighting is worse)

Horrible acting (side characters are trying too hard)

The filming style (mentioned before with the talking head scenes, and overall it just felt less engaging.

In previous seasons, you'd get very interesting angles. Camera movement wasn't relied on so heavily in the sense that the camera moved maybe once in a scene to establish some mood or tell the audience something. With Season 10 (or modern slop) the camera is constantly moving throughout the scene. It takes away from the mood building.

What changed? I've noticed this in so many modern film and TV shows. It's like everyone has the exact same playbook and they all changed at the same time.

How do the multiple other beings that have visited or already here co-ordinate their operations and what happens with us?

If there are supposedly multiple NHI's that have already visited or currently here, what's the pecking order? Are they hiding from each other? Who gets to controls what happens to the monkeys on the blue marble?

Is this poisonous

Location: GTA, Ontario Canada.

Never seen one like this, usually see the big long furry type of house centipedes but this one looks like something youd find in warmer climates. Whats the species and is it harmless?
