More of the Tidmouth Sheds MOC WIP

Most of the roof is finished, and I made a majority of the floor of the building. I still need to add buffers to the ends of the rails, and all the pillars and stuff inside as well. Then I just need to finish the roof, and then make the back wall, and the sheds will be complete! I'd say this is about maybe 70% to 75% completed at this point.

Current WIP Build of Tidmouth Sheds from Thomas & Friends

I'm now working on building major locations for sets, and I figured I would start with Tidmouth Sheds. I've seen some folks build the RWS version of Tidmouth Sheds, or a more simplified non-curved version of the TVS version. For my own personal design, though, I wanted to attempt making the curved version with all 7 berths. I'm using various image references from the model series, as well as using Wonders of Sodor too. I'm real proud of what I have so far, and can't wait to see what the final build will look like!

I imported my Gordon model into Blender and rigged his valve gear system

I've been taking my Thomas & Friends MOCs and have been importing them into Blender and rigging them, and I was very proud of how Gordon's valve gear and side rods looked in action so I figured I would share them in motion here :)

I've been hassling with an Oliver model for a while now, in my attempt to keep my models in scale with one another. Yes, I could have made Oliver have just a 4 stud wide boiler, but then he'd be *slightly* too small. I could have given him a 5 stud wide face, like James or Duck. But then he'd be *slightly* too big! So, I jerryrigged a setup to give him a boiler size right in the middle. Not 8 studs wide, not 10 studs wide, but right in the middle at 9 studs wide.
