I have 3 big train books with lots of history about trains, and I came across this. Anyone know what railway this engine was from? (Also the white bit is the light and some dust). SOUTH AFRICA is the region im posting from.
Hi. My name's Josh, and I've had this gas mask for few years now. But ive always wondered where it's from, and what it was possibly used for. My one doesn't have a filter, so ive put a sock in there (dumb idea i know.) The first two pics are the front, and back. The 3rd one is me wearing it, and holding the drinking tube. If anyone wants a little help. I believe it might be south African, since that's where it was when I got it.
