ISO Galactic 1/1/98 Variety Playhouse Audio

I've come across a video of this show and would like to sync it up with a better audio source. Etree shows it in 2 people's collection and I've reached out to them. Anyone hold onto this one and still have it in their collection? Let me know if you do! Thanks!

Todd Snider 7/14/01 Ribfest Video

Howdy! I put up this show on my YouTube channel a few months ago. Added an upgraded audio source, but the taper is unknown. Hope you enjoy!

>
Todd Snider plays Sam's Club Ribfest in St. Louis, MO on 7/14/2001. Video is from the archives of ‪@deadedyouknowit6604‬

Set 1
00:00 Can't Complain
04:30 Beer Run
07:48 Long Year
12:45 Missing You
18:33 Just in Case
20:53 Trouble
23:56 Easy Money
28:49 Sideshow Blues
34:36 All My Life
39:38 Talkin' Seattle Grunge Rock Blues
44:35 Alright Guy

Encore
50:03 Illegal Smile

Notes (from eighteenminutes.com)
The crowd didn't seem to be paying much attention to Todd's performance.

This show includes one of the earliest recordings where Todd uses the line "This is a song I learned off the Grateful Dead" while he tunes his guitar ("Tune In"). Todd used this line again in St. Louis almost four years later.

Subscribe to The JamBox Channel on YouTube!

Howdy! My name is Turner and I run The Sandbox Channel accounts on the internets. If you haven't heard of it, I take bootleg Mikey era Widespread Panic videos and do my best to make them better. That can be with an upgraded audio source, stabilization, de-noising, de-graining, upscaling, and color correcting if necessary. Through that account, I have received a decent amount of non-Panic video that I have started transferring and putting up on a second YouTube account called 'The JamBox Channel'. Most of it so far is coming from the archives of a cat named dead_ed_u_know_it on Instagram. Today I put up an Umphrey's McGee show from 2002, which is what the clip I posted is from. I'm hoping to get a pro-shot Leftover Salmon '97 show up in the next couple of days as well. Here is what is on the channel so far...

Sunday matinee? Going live in 10 minutes at The Sandbox Channel on YouTube with 4 songs from 11/22/00 in Louisville, KY.

Made a matrix with the soundboard audio from the archive podcast and the MK41 audience source.

"Thought Sausage" started off the second set followed by "Red Beans", a nasty "Hatfield", and "Greta". If you know where to find more of this footage, please let me know. Thanks to Harvey C. for helping get this one out into the world. Tune in here...

7/8/2001 Deer Creek Premiere...

Save the date, Deer Creek 7/8/01 coming at the end of the West Coast Tour. Tune in Tuesday, 7/28, at The Sandbox Channel on YouTube for what I believe is its digital premiere!

There are 2 hours of video for this show, as that was the length of the VHS. Missing the first 2 songs and encore...if anyone knows where to find the rest of this footage, please let me know. I believe it is out there, but choices were made on this copy as it all wouldn't fit on one VHS. Shout out to Harvey C. for getting this one to me. If you know of any video out there, please message me. If it isn't already on YouTube, I'm very interested.

Before & After of 4/28/1990...

4/28/1990 is the next premiere at The Sandbox Channel on YouTube, coming up this Tuesday at 8:30 ET.

Stabilization helped a ton on this one, as well as an upgraded audio source. The video and audio were running at different speeds, so it took some adjusting to get them to sync up. The "Conrad" in this video is running at 101.42% of its original speed, and the "Love Tractor" is 101.67%. You may see some spots not in sync, especially where I had to cut-in the audio from the video camera, but I did my best.

I was inspired by a recent Sam Holt post to do this one next, and glad I did. The band was moved inside due to weather that never appeared. The crowd is very inspired. Fun, early Panic, daytime show. Hope you can tune in!

Bruce and the Codetalkers up.

I just put out a 3.5 hour Leftover Salmon show from Salmonfest in Lesterville, MO on 7/1/01. Go check it out and subscribe to The JamBox Channel on YouTube!

7/2/1997 Peoria, IL Remastered premieres Tuesday, 8:30 ET, at The Sandbox Channel on YouTube!

I have well over 24 hours in this one. Looks like it was hand held, and it takes a lot of time to add the stabilization. I think I'm going to hold off on any of similar quality for a while, unless it's from '97 like this one.

Thanks to Clinton at cleantones on YouTube for sending the master files over, and Gordon F. for capturing it for us! Jah bless the tapers!

Tune in tonight for the premiere of 6/21/98 remastered. Stream kicks off 8:30 ET at The Sandbox Channel on YouTube. Stay tuned after the hour long set for the first time played of Lou Reed's "Vicious" from 10/31/03 at Madison Square Garden.
