Verizon Fraud team is absolutely stupid. I can’t authenticate the account someone else fraudulently created using my identity, I don’t have the account information, I can’t get the account information because I don’t have the address or phone numbers on the account, and I know who did it, and have the identifying information for that individual, but because the last four numbers of the social don’t match my name, the numerous collection agencies Verizon hired to harass a DV identity theft victim will not give me any information. See, normal people with functioning brains can understand that all my ex husband and his next wife had to do was create the Verizon account online using my identity, list my ex husband as a co-account holder after they used my credit to purchase devices for her entire family, and then default on the account leaving me with $13,000 in collections for the devices and the bill.
