Advice needed - two options budget speakers

Hello!
I’m sorry if this sort of post isn’t allowed.

I’m kind of new to mixing but really want to learn and improve. I’m currently using a pair or Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO X headphones for mixing, and referencing the mixes on two other sets of headphones as well as my car speakers and small Bluetooth speakers.
I’m currently on a very low budget, and I was wondering if it would be worth it to buy cheap speakers or if it’s pointless and it would be better to wait until I can save up and buy iLoud Micros or Adam D3Vs or something similar. Oh and I’m in a very small untreated room, but with a lot of clothes that would dampen reflections.

So currently I can buy a used pair of small JVC speakers, originally from a micro stereo system, single driver with front facing bass port, and a used micro amp. My plan was to use these as reference monitors, kind of like how one would use Auratones.
Another option would be a used pair of Edifier MR3, which in total would be about twice the price as the previous option.
I would still use headphones for detailed work I guess, but monitors for reference, and to reduce ear fatigue when not doing detail work.

Would any of these be worth spending money on - or both if I could afford it - or is it better to hold on to my money and save although it might be a while until I can afford something better?
