How to take apart locks (and put them together later)

Hi there!

I started watching lockpicking videos recently, and sometimes saw locks being taken apart.

I have this lock from work (and have a key for it). Unfortunately it fell into sand quite often and now it opens even without a key. I would like to take it apart and clean it. Gemini told me it's impossible, is it really?

The lock is not needed at work, so I don't have time pressure, but it would be nice to repair it instead of throwing it away.

I understand it might be easier to spray some stuff into it, but I'm kinda interested how it looks from the inside.

If there is a video beginner guide on this, please post, I'd like to learn :)

EDIT:

I got it apart by unscrewing the screw. Thanks, I already love this community :)

The Real Challenge | Capablanca vs Frank Marshall

Although this was around 100 years ago I thought those are two nice stories which fit this sub perfectly.

The first story happened when José Raúl Capablanca was still a child, a chess progidy who had just beaten the Cuban champion Juan Corzo and went on to become the third world chess champion.

Second story is self-explaining.
