Constant bleeding?

Please tell me there are others who have experienced this. A couple nights ago I had a slightly harder than normal BM and it caused my chronic fissure to re-tear there was a slight amount of blood on the paper but not in the bowl. Since then it’s been that way, but last night there was a bit more blood on the paper and a tiny bit in the bowl (which has happened before) but what I’m more alarmed about is the fact that it’s now continuing to bleed ever so slowly, so nothing crazy, even when I’m not using the bathroom. It’s not enough to cause stains on underwear or anything like that but usually the next time I go to pee, when I use a baby wipe back there, it’s blood.

Note: I have seen a CRS, I do have a fissure and I do have pain during the BM but not after. I have nifedipine which I’ve been using although not seeing too much of a difference. I’ll admit I have been slacking on the MiraLAX lately but only because I’ve been having insane health anxiety about other things so with anxiety comes the diarrhea so I didn’t need more lax on top of that. I figured it healed up enough and I could continue without it but I guess not.

I do have a colonoscopy coming up in literally a week and am already terrified of that since it’s my first one, first time being sedated, results, etc.

Has anyone else had this type of bleeding? How do you stop it? Like I said it’s not a profuse amount of bleeding at all I’m just freaking out because it’s never happened to me like this before, usually I just wipe and it’s gone and doesn’t happen when I’m off the toilet. Advice? Normal for us with fissures?

Does it sound like a fissure?

I’ll try to keep this short, around 8-9 years ago I had a moment of serious constipation and yes I did what I know I shouldn’t have done and I strained and pushed. I noticed what I believed to be a hemorrhoid (may still be) possibly a little while after maybe a couple months, maybe a year or two, I didn’t regularly examine my anus because I never had a reason. But one day I did notice and I’m thinking it had to do with that bathroom experience because I’ve never had issues with constipation before then and even after that day for the longest time.

So I have had this hemorrhoid for all these years, never had given me issues, no pain, bleeding, straining, nothing. Until last year,
I started a GLP-1 and as we know it can alter your bathroom habits. For me it started with diarrhea and I still had no issues with the hemorrhoid in question but after being on the GLP-1 for a while I noticed that they did start to become more formed stools, what I would call a normal soft stool and every now and then a bit of slight constipation. Which I just read is normal for a GLP-1 to do apparently.

I’ve done some researching of my symptoms and I have what I believe to be an anal fissure (that was in remission for the longest) with an external “sentinel pile”, so I have been treating myself as such. I saw my PCP about it and she believes it’s just an angry hemorrhoid and tells me to push it back in. It won’t go back in I’ve tried. I will note I have moved somewhere without a bathtub and I use to take frequent baths (I just enjoyed them) but now I’m thinking it was helping with this issue. My symptoms have gotten worse since moving but they are as follows:

-a sharp pain at the start of pooping but afterward is usually fine (sometimes I will have persisting pain for some hours after a BM if I don’t keep up with the MiraLAX)

-occasional bright red blood on toilet paper and tiny bit of drips in toilet

That’s really it. There’s never really burning or persistent pain unless I pass a hard stool and it’s actually gotten a little better. I use a squatty potty now, I’ve been practicing deep breathing as I think I have tight pelvic floor muscles. I take the MiraLAX. I do need to get a sitz bath I’ve just been putting it off. I just have really high health anxiety and I’m seeing the blood when it does happen and I’m immediately thinking it’s cancer. I guess I am diagnosed with a hemorrhoid even though it looks more like a slightly puffy skin tag. I know my PCP is not a specialist. I plan to get referred to a colorectal surgeon, I guess I’m just wondering what others think.

Myo + D Chiro Inositol and Buspirone?

I hope I used the flair correctly but I was wondering if anyone here takes Buspar/Buspirone with the Ovasitol or other branded Myo and D-Chiro inositol supplements? Just wondering about others experiences with it, if anyone got side effects or not. I know every body is different and I should ask my doctor as well however my new doctor is not very knowledgeable in PCOS/PMOS (will be switching soon)
