Lost any hope

For some background I just turned 40 and have been trying to conceive for the last eight months. Last month I set up an appointment with fertility as we were having no luck….
Well I just got the call from my Doctor and my amh is 0.09… I’m devastated. Years ago I was told I had PCOS and was always reading how people with PCOS have high amh even older, so to say I was shocked was an understatement. She said my fsh was good, and we can still try medication and iui, but is there even any reason to keep trying? I feel like I’ve failed my partner, I failed myself, I’ve failed as a woman. I’m not sure if I can keep trying now knowing that my chances are like 1%… and to top it all off it’s my anniversary and I just had to tell him, bawling on the phone while he’s at work. 😭

This probably doesn’t belong here but I could use some support.

As the title says this probably isn’t the best place to post this but I am a bit of an emotional wreck right now. I have been trying to conceive for about 5 months now and I’m currently in my TWW…. When I first told my mom I was trying for a baby she was so excited and happy for me and my partner and would make me feel hopeful and positive that it will happen for us. She’s always been my biggest cheerleader and always helps me when I get down. Well today unexpectedly I lost my mom…one minute she was here and the next she was gone. I’m so heartbroken and I’m just trying to even begin to cope with this. Has anyone experienced losing a parent and can offer me some kind words. I need to hear them right now. 💔

Thank you everyone who reached out with kind words and those of you who shared your stories.
