So here’s my theory, although Daisy didn’t have a plan post her Grove allegation stunt. I think it may possibly work in Becka’s favour.

What if she claims her dad (Dr Grove) tried to touch her and she stabbed him as a retaliation. He’d already been reported by Hulda. So the aunts and Judd know he has the potential to do it. >!They’ve also clearly adapted what Paula’s character did in the book for Becka’s character in the show.!<

So I’m thinking, they use this a a moment of psychosis to rehabilitate her traumas and she eventually becomes an aunt.
