Like if it's a new store with a websites sometimes it starts out good and then slowly becomes horrible and/or slow because of all the small addon. Or market places becoming the same thing over and over again which is selling car, apartments, services and not actual normal stuff you'd want to see. Oh don't get me started on a website that shows a 90% discount and then says out of stock! EVERYTHING is out of stock... Is it so hard to have an actual decent online store in kuwait?

Let's start with what I mean by indie/small store:

1: One to two stores at most
2: Not an international brand
3: Run and owned by someone living locally
4: Bonus points: They do something interesting/relatively niche
5: More bonus: They also have activities

This post is mostly to help small businesses in Kuwait survive the current challenges, don't post ads and only post places you find genuinely great and would like more people to support them.

Was thinking about a salad or something cold to cap off the workweek. Maybe a club sandwich. Had a horrible "roast" beef sandwich that's actually just mortadella! Anyone know a good place for roast beef while we are at it? Hardee's doesn't hit as hard as it used to with theirs.

ll start with that I really hate shopping for clothes inperson because usually shops only have a tiny corner for men.

Now my question is: is there a store in Kuwait that sells a variety of men's cloths that are decent quality and doesn't break the bank? I am also looking for Undershirts and underwear variety to test but all I can find is cotton or a blend that I hate. I am just trying to find something that doesn't rip within a few washes but doesn't cost 15KD.

It just feels like a lot of stuff here is either barely qualified to be clothing or costing 20KD per shirt. And now with the situation importing anything is close to gold price. H&M has good shirt blanks, but can't find good pants.

Alert Siren for July 20th

Hello! There has been a resurgence by members of the community to create or make stuff. It would be really interesting to make a monthly show and tell for people to share what they have made. It would be better than the classic Q/A posts, would also be better than making joke posts for entertainment of the community since it can get stale if thats the only two things going for it.

Another question is how many people here are getting their news from the subreddit? Because it might be a good idea to post important news and updates that affects everyone.
