Part-Time IT Support Engineer (1099/C2C) – Greater Los Angeles

We're a growing managed IT services company looking for a professional, dependable IT Support Engineer to provide onsite support for our small and medium-sized business clients throughout the Greater Los Angeles area. Most of our current work is in Studio City, Burbank, Sherman Oaks, Van Nuys, and Carson, though travel throughout LA County may occasionally be required.

We're looking for someone who enjoys helping people, communicates well with clients, and takes pride in providing white-glove service.

Required Experience

• Windows 10/11 support
• Mac, iPhone, Android experience a plus
• PC hardware and software troubleshooting
• Printers and scanning solutions
• Basic networking (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi)
• Routers and firewalls (SonicWall, Ubiquiti UniFi/Dream Machine preferred), EERO
• Active Directory, Entra ID, and Intune experience is a plus
• macOS support is a plus

What We're Looking For

• Professional, courteous, and dependable
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Able to work independently onsite but will have a backup helping remotely with SMS communication 90% of the time.
• Comfortable working in executive and professional office environments
• Early-riser and morning availability is required; comfortable leaving for gigs between 6:30 am-8 am is a huge plus, also for LA traffic planning.
• Reliable transportation and a valid California driver's license

Technical skills will be discussed during the interview process. We're looking for honest, experienced professionals who know what they know—and aren't afraid to say what they don't.

Position Details

• Part-time
• 1099 Independent Contractor or C2C
• Approximately 10–30+ hours per week depending on workload (occasionally more)
• Competitive hourly rate based on experience
• Paid biweekly
• Flexible schedule—this position works well for consultants or engineers with existing clients, provided responsiveness and reliability are maintained.
