Honest Review of Hikes

Ok please be honest! It is my first time in Alberta and I am already doing hikes such as cirque peak, sentinel pass, bow peak, wilcox peak, bald hills, iceline trail, and akamina ridge. Am I missing out if I dont do Sulphur skyline and mt Bourgue? I am only able to spend 2 days in Jasper so that was the best I could do am I getting the essence with the views?

Alberta Visit

Hi Everyone

I wanted to ask about the following hikes and which one is the best ones to do for someone who is visiting for the first time and had a few questions about hikes like cirque peak.

Banff

- Burstall Pass

-Cirque Peak (is the scramble sus?)
- Plain of Glaciers + Lake Louise / Sentinell Pass?

- In Jasper I only have 3 days and these are the current hikes I am looking at

  • Bow peak
  • Bald Hills
  • Verdant Pass
  • Mount Bourgeau (Doing)
  • Wilcox Pass(Doing)

Yoho

- Emerald Basin - Is emerald triangle worth the mileage?

- Iceline Trail with Yoho Valley

Waterton

- Akamina Ridge

I am open to suggestions for Jasper what I should do as well as a overall as a first timer and whether the hikes I am doing will give me a good overview of the Canadian Rockies

First time in waterton

Hi Everyone, I am doing a trip from glacier NP all the way to banff, jasper, and wanted to stop in waterton. I am planning to do akamina ridge but wanted to ask whether there are any other hikes which may be more impressive than this one in the park like carthew, lineham etc. I also wanted to ask how narrow akamina is as from photos it does look pretty narrow.
