Just for context. First pic is from when car was being fuelled straight from the fuel pump about a month ago. Second pic is while running the car after taking the efforts of removing the "Amrit Ras". Everything is constant in these two pics i:e same speed, same route, same time, same distance.

This is just to share the readings showing on the digital gauge. I am not confirming or acknowledging any particular figures or specifics by sharing the above.

Update: 18.07.2026

After the first tank top up, drove about 250kms just so all the E20 fuel is hopefully exhausted/used from the tank and fuel system. Did not keep any record of the mileage from before or after but the digital gauge showing the avg. mileage did show a significant increase.

Not talking numbers right now till the time I am absolutely sure. The plus side is that the engine did feel much smoother and the pick was much more powerful. No knocking of the engine or any other issues at all.

Filled up my tank again and have reset the odometer for now. Have not added any octane booster.

Got 38 liters of normal petrol from IOCL. 2 bottles with 19 liter each. Added one liter of water to each bottle and shake, shake, shake. Left it for a couple of days to settle and about 8 liters of ethanol+water has been removed. The leftover petrol has been transfered to my fuel tank. Will drive around for about a week and update with results.
