Safest cars in India. Is Brezza and Punch EV now the perfect city cars?
Tata needs to up their game. And bring pedestrian safe cars with softer bumpers. Nissan Tekton is ranked No.15 and ommited by idiots of team Rushlane
New Brezza gets 5 star in BNCAP
It scored 30.41/32 points for adult occupant protection and 43/49 points for child occupant protection.
But again BNCAP ratings, so a pinch of salt maybe

Renault Kwid Accessories -Pune
I am planning to add some accessories in my 2017 Kwid 1.0 and need shop recommendations and references in Pune.
Primarily want to install:
1. Wireless android auto and CarPlay (No OEM support)
2. Dashcam (Not sure about variants)
3. New parking reverse camera (OEM sensor and camera installed)
4. New infotainment system (OEM screen is pretty much useless now)
5. TPMS
If anyone has installed such accessories recently or in the past from Pune, please share your experience and recommendations.
Also, please give a decent budget range for this, I am expecting around 20-25k on the higher side.
BPCL Executive Anurag Saraogi confirms 30% mileage drop with E20
Our petroleum minister rejects idea of fuel choices. Help me understand the difference between democracy and dictatorship
Isn't the idea of a democracy that when a majority of people want something reasonable, the government works toward making it happen?
If one person says, "I know what's best for the country, so my decision stands," doesn't that, at least a little, resemble a dictatorship?
Forget E0, at least E10 options? So many vehicles are just e10 compliant. Their initial target was 2030, they preponed it to 2025.
Did the people ask for it? Or did they ask the people even once?
This might just sound like a rant. But honestly I do not want people to stop voicing their opinions or else this will soon be forgotten as well.
I'm not completely against E20, it's just absolutely pitiful that they rushed the push. Must bunk owners don't know how to handle this blend, that it attracts moisture and how to store it.
And for people who keep saying E20 is good, issue is overblown etc. Remember honestly it's not just about e20, it's about reminding that we elected them, and they are public servants who will listen to us or convince logically, scientifically that it is fine.
As a car and bike owner, I do not want to spend unnecessarily on things whether those are rubber parts or fuel parts.
Phase out the vehicles first, and then introduce higher blends.
Give manufacturers time to adapt.
Let's please not let this die down.
Bold prediction: Nissan Tekton will revive the Nissan brand in India.
E20 to E0
Just for context. First pic is from when car was being fuelled straight from the fuel pump about a month ago. Second pic is while running the car after taking the efforts of removing the "Amrit Ras". Everything is constant in these two pics i:e same speed, same route, same time, same distance.
This is just to share the readings showing on the digital gauge. I am not confirming or acknowledging any particular figures or specifics by sharing the above.
This guy should be made petroleum minister of India immediately.
Noob here needs your help!!

Ethanol Subsidies: Public Money, Private Production?
Considering the supply chain of ethanol:
Farmers -> Sugar mills / Grain processors / Distilleries -> Public Sector Oil Marketing Companies -> Consumers [Petrol ICE vehicle owners]
Why didn't India build PSU ethanol distilleries so that the crude oil import savings remain within the PSU, in other words, within government control?
Why are we not questioning the Indian government on this? Rather, all the profiteering and benefits of the subsidies are being availed by distilleries/sugar mill/food processors owned by private companies.
A major portion of the crude oil import savings is being directed to these private sector companies, owned by politicians from all parties, including the BJP, Congress, etc.
Key QUESTIONS:
Should India have chosen a PSU-led ethanol model?
Who really benefits from India's ethanol subsidies?
India's ethanol policy: Why incentivize private distilleries instead of PSUs?
This is Nitin Gadkari, AMA about E20 and it's benefits.
Compact SUV under 25 Lakhs
I'm looking for recommendations for a compact SUV under 25 lakh for my father
He drives around 800 km every week, with one weekly Mumbai-Pune-Mumbai trip and then mostly city driving. He's currently driving a Maruti S-Cross Zeta 1.3D, which we've owned for the last 8 years. It's been a good one especially with the mileage and boot space.
However, it's now starting to show its age and is requiring more frequent repairs. One important factor is that my father isn't very particular about preventive maintenance, so looking for something which is easy to maintain, have a good mileage, I was considering Toyota Hyryder Hybrid Automatic but I believe its only in Petrol and with this E20 thing not very sure if we should switch from Diesel to Petrol
PS: Im not very well versed with cars myself and dont follow much about the latest ones is the market so open to all suggestions
