I think it would be cool if Paramount gave the Mary Lambert era of Pet Sematary "the Halloween treatment," with a new direct continuation of the original 1989 film, wiping away the events of 1992 sequel that stars Edward Furlong. Cuz I'm not a fan of the 2019 remake and it's 2023 prequel. I'm more attached to the 1989 film. And when I watched Pet Sematary Two, i thought about Ellie the entire time, and i felt like crying. It was like she was forgotten.

I wish Pet Sematary would've done like John Carpenter's Halloween did, get a new sequel that replaces the events of the old one. And if that happened, i would be happy to see Blaze Berdahl's Ellie Creed on screen again. Paramount turning down Mary Lambert's original Pet Sematary Two vision with Ellie returning was such a missed opportunity. 😢

​I get the frustration with the recent automated safety filter updates, false positives on harmless chats are annoying, and it's clear a lot of people are running into the exact same issue right now. But I've been seeing these posts frequently in my feed as soon as i open Reddit and it's gotten really annoying. Can there at least be a megathread to post these posts related to the automated safety filters?
