Soviets are ready to begin liberating the workers of the world!
I know there's the whole Team Yankee novel and all, but my head cannon is just this shit has popped off because a young Mathew Broderick hacked a computer just to play a game.

I picked up the T80 Shock Tank starter box, since that seems like where everything is pushing me to go until I can get 72s, 64s, and 55s.
Hopefully Checkpoint Charlie being an "early war" box for the Cold War, we may get a "mid war" box with the other tanks.
But... I'm eyeing up the BMP Motor Rifle Battalion box and wondering if anyone knows if the T80 unit card in the box is also Shock Tank or Red Banner?
Getting my half of the starter box complete while I decide on how I will expand.
Are the older starter sets (T-72s, Warsaw Pacts, etc) just never coming back?
I'm only finding T-80s and Checkpoint Charlie currently.
Hello all.
I am just getting started in the game (Core box and Fulda Gap box only) and I'm enjoying it so far, but I'm having trouble finding what resources to go to next.
I'm playing Soviets, so I know about books like Soviet, Red Thunder, and Red Dawn. But I'm looking to get as much info as I can before making purchases.
Any help is appreciated!
Do powers that specify "Before damage is dealt do X" need to do at least 1 damage to get that effect??
Thoughts on the 3 Threat Prime Sentinels in a Hydra roster running Strucker leadership???
Any idea when we can expect an update for Nimrod?
Currently his Metahuman Power Recognition is unusable as written, it would seem.
It's an Active power on the card, but it's a Reactive power by mechanics.
For a casual game, it's clearly a mistake. Treat it appropriately. In a tournament, I've already encountered That Guy.
Had a scenario come up in a game a couple days ago and wanted to get some external insight.
I wasn't able to find a definitive answer in the rulebook for this. If anyone has links to source of info, please share so I have evidence for next time lol
Is there any kind of limitation on when range can be measured?
Scenario was a character was moved into range 2 of my character with Martial Artist. After determining they were within range 2, the player moved their character back so they were just out of range 2.
I was completely fine with it as I was not trying to be ultra sweaty, but it did make me wonder what the point of things like Martial Artist is if you can just pre measure to never have to deal with it.
And I do know the Order of Operations for declaring an attack is you first point at the thing and yell die, then you measure range, then you spend power, etc etc.
So tl;dr - is this just wildly overthinking, or is there some specific nuance in the game that we were casually doing wrong?
