Advice needed: Facebook Marketplace Sale
Need advice on how to proceed because I can’t seem to get a straight answer in my search anywhere:
Short backstory: Buyer purchased an item from me through the marketplace. She wants to cancel after admitting to not reading the listing description in our messages. I know it’s final sale but at this point, I fear the retaliatory rating more than just refunding her at this point. Not worth the battle to me.
She says she can’t cancel on her end and I need to cancel on mine but I’ve only shipped 3 items through the marketplace successfully. Correct me if I’m wrong but if I cancel, I will most likely shoot my cancellation rate up over the threshold and lose shipping privilege.
I’ve seen answers ranging from ”you’ll never ship again to you can sum it evidence and you’ll be fine”.
Is it a gamble worth taking to cancel the order via other with screenshots of our conversation? Any suggestions on how to proceed? I’ve reached out to support but I’m not holding my breath.
