Need an honest opinion on the Honda Elevate from people who’ve actually driven/owned one.
I’m planning to upgrade from my Ford Freestyle Petrol. What I really loved about the Freestyle was the handling, braking confidence, steering feel, and overall driving dynamics. The NA engine did feel a bit strained sometimes above 120 km/h on highways, but overall it was still a fun and confidence-inspiring car to drive.
What I didn’t like much was the suspension comfort — especially on rough roads.
Now I’m considering the Honda Elevate. I’m not someone who cares too much about flashy features or gimmicks. My priorities are:
Performance / drivability
Good handling & stability
Ride comfort
Strong braking confidence
Decent acceleration (manual or automatic, both fine)
Proper Android Auto setup with a good usable screen
A decent-looking speedometer / instrument cluster (don’t want something that feels too outdated)
I’ve heard mixed opinions about the Elevate — some say it’s very refined and practical, while others say it’s not very exciting to drive.
So from a pure driving + comfort perspective:
How does the Elevate feel at highway speeds?
Is the CVT too dull or actually smooth enough for spirited driving?
How’s the suspension compared to Ford cars?
Does it feel stable and confidence inspiring?
Which variant makes the most sense value-wise?
I checked the top variant, but honestly it feels a bit overpriced for what it offers
Would really appreciate genuine long-term ownership feedback instead of brochure-level reviews 😅
