So I finally got a chance to drive my new Elevate on the New Delhi-Dehradun highway. After reading so much about the NVH level problems in the car, I found it was not that bad at all. I have also driven my friend’s Creta on the highway. Although the Creta is more silent, the difference is not as much as people claim online. I don’t know about the older models, but I got my car manufactured in 2026, so I can’t say if they have made any changes.
To all those who doubt CVT performance this was done on the Chennai–Mumbai highway near Kanchipuram. The car was in normal Drive mode, not Sport mode, with the AC set at 20°C and not even full throttle on the pedal.
This is the kind of performance an i-VTEC can deliver almost turbo-like while still being smooth and refined. CVTs are seriously underrated.
That said, I do not recommend high-speed driving. Always be cautious, drive responsibly, and prioritize safety for yourself and others on the road.
Tested features like Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane Assist on the Honda Elevate ZX CVT — they worked seamlessly.

Model: 2024 Honda Elevate ZX CVT
Odometer: ~13,500 km
Ownership: Second owner
Asking price: ₹13 lakh
Final negotiated price: Around ₹12.5 lakh
Condition: Test drive felt good, engine and gearbox seemed smooth
Minor scratches on the body, nothing major.
I Liked the driving experience. My only concern is whether ₹12.5 lakh is fair considering it’s already a second-owner vehicle within a short time.

I’m planning to upgrade from my Ford Freestyle Petrol. What I really loved about the Freestyle was the handling, braking confidence, steering feel, and overall driving dynamics. The NA engine did feel a bit strained sometimes above 120 km/h on highways, but overall it was still a fun and confidence-inspiring car to drive.
What I didn’t like much was the suspension comfort — especially on rough roads.

Almost 10k on odo after slightly more than a year, V CVT apex edition variant gives a really smooth driving experience in the city, only complaints are that the aftermarket infotainment system is not that good.
