Can a person with EID & traffic license issued in Dubai, register a car in Abu Dhabi?
I am currently based in Dubai, but relocating to Abu Dhabi in couple of months. Just bought a car in Dubai that I want to register in Abu Dhabi to avoid any hassle later after relocation.
The salesperson (Mazda/Galadari) believes it’s not possible for my car to be registered in Abu Dhabi because my EID was issued in Dubai. So I came here to verify if this info is true.
If the answer to my question is ‘no’, what possible issues/inconvenince - if at all - could I possibly face in Abu Dhabi driving a Dubai registered car?
