My effort to clean up litter in Lexington and other parts of Kentucky
Good evening,
I have decided that a few times a week, I'm going to make intentional efforts to clean litter in Lexington and other parts of Kentucky. I have created a Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok called DeTrash the Bluegrass. If you'd like to follow along, consider giving me a follow.
If you'd like to request a cleanup in a specific area, you can fill out my Google Form or message me directly on any of those platforms.
More pictures of my cleanup of Jacobson Park are posted. This was only an hour cleanup. There is a LOT of trash there, so I will likely be back later this week.
Thank you.

Areas in Lexington/surrounding areas with a lot of litter?
Hey all,
I want to start cleaning up litter. I have already been cleaning up a lot of Masterson Station and the trail around my home. But I enjoy this; it's nice to get out and stay active, and I like the fulfillment that comes from making our town a little nicer to look at.
In your experience, what parts of towns/trails/etc have a lot of litter? And by this, I don't mean your neighbor's yard. I mean somewhere open to the public (even beside roads) where somebody could go out and clean up trash.
Thanks.
Looking for a logo for a simple page I want to design - Just my personal effort to clean up litter
Good evening,
I am starting a Group on Facebook called "DeTrash the Bluegrass" where folks can coordinate community cleanups, post areas where there is a lot of litter, and just encourage people to get out and pick up trash in their communities.
I would love a very simple logo using the name "DeTrash the Bluegrass," with some type of Kentucky imagery in the background. Unfortunately, due to this being a volunteer project in its infancy, I do not have the funds for a tip. So I am forever grateful for anything you can provide!
Thanks a bunch!
