We're currently sourcing power supply manufacturers for a new B2B hardware project. Up until now, we’ve leaned toward established international brands, but we're actively comparing a few China-based manufacturers.

Some Chinese suppliers seem to offer more flexible customization, faster communication, and better OEM options for our AC-DC adapter needs. It sounds good on paper, but what has your actual experience been like? How do they compare to big international brands in terms of long-term reliability, valid UL/CE documentation, and engineering support when things go wrong?

I'm planning a small residential solar installation, and my installer recommended a 4kW inverter. There seem to be dozens of options out there, so I'm hoping to hear about people's experiences from this community. I'm looking for something with good efficiency, solid warranty support, and hopefully a track record of long-term performance.
