I'm looking to get AC in 3 rooms - living room, master bedroom and bedroom 2. The engineer said its be best to have a 2 split and single split for the rooms due to distance.

The single split for master bedroom will be off the plugs ring main, so minimal distance for electric and piping.

The multi split will have it's own ring main with electric cable run round the outside of the house to the back where the split unit will go. Also need new distribution board as all slots full. Cabling from box is about 15m. Living room unit will be pretty much next to the split unit. Bedroom trunking around 10m. Distances estimated.

Is this quote reasonable (Cambridgeshire ): £9k for 3 internal units and 2 external - 1 single and 1 multi split.
