Seven days after the passing of our fifteen year old cat, Peppermint, our sweet nine year old Buster has left us to join her. He was battling a banging tooth infection that wasn't improving. After a few visits to the vet, his blood works revealed that he was weak with leukemia.
I don't know what we did in our pasts to deserve losing both pets in a week, but it hurts like hell. Such a quiet, empty home.
Or Chihuahua needs to take liquid meds for a tooth infection but he will NOT hold still for us to do it. We tried all advice and suggestions to no avail.
I could use someone who is used to doing this with their pet or is familiar with the process.
Is there someone in Moncton who actually does this kind of thing for a living? Someone who goes to people's homes to administer pet meds? My dog is suffering and has gone days without the meds and I (he) sure could use some help with this.
Anyone amm? And if so, how much? He needs meds twice a day for ten days. Preferabley 8AM and 8PM We're on day five and we were only able to give him two. Sure could use a hand.
I'm sorry. I know this has been asked a million times.
My chihuahua has an infected tooth and needs to take liquid pain meds and antibiotics via syringes. He had to take meds last year and he will not take pills no matter what we do.
We tried to give him his first syringe dose today and it was brutal. Buster is ten years old and I've never seen him that stressed or that vicious or that strong to fight against us. It's absolutely impossible and he's in severe pain.
We've tried everything suggested. Squirting meds on /in his food won't work because he hurts too much to eat. The vet charged $250, gave us the meds and basically said, "here, you do it." WE CAN'T!!!
Please help. It's so damn heartbreaking to see him like this. Are there people out there who know what they're doing that will come to our home to do it? Ten days!! What a nightmare.
Thanks. 🐾🐾🐾
