Crusty pus filled nose

My 9-year-old bulldog, George, has had a crusty/dry nose for a few years now. I’ve been keeping it moisturized with Vaseline and nose balms, which seemed to help at first. But over the last year, I started noticing yellow crust building up on his nose, and recently I saw pus coming out from the cracks in it.

I took him to the vet, and they prescribed antibiotics and told me to keep his nose moisturized. I’ve been doing that consistently, but the pus still hasn’t gone away. George doesn’t seem uncomfortable or bothered by it, but I’m worried that if it’s an infection, it could spread or get worse.

Has anyone experienced something similar with their dog? My vet mentioned he hasn’t seen anything quite like this before.

First picture is on a “good” day.
Second pic is a bad dry crusty day.
Third pic is keeping it moist but you can still see the yellow crust.
Fourth picture is when I squeeze his nose.
