In the funeral episode Wilson actually eating Saul just grosses me out
I don’t know Ik it’s meant to be funny but it’s just not its very dark
I think Jim would have been better every few episodes
I know I’m a bit late and someone might have already posted about this but I find that Jim is so funny extremely perverted but funny. I love Friday night dinner but I feel it could get repetitive at times.
everytime the doorbell rang it was Jim trying to force him self into there house or do someting pervy to Jackie. I thought he was daft and funny but i would have enjoyed it more if it were every few episodes or every other episode. it felt forceful in the last seasons.
just wondered if anyone agreed with me ?
shalom Jackie 🙏
(btw this isn’t jim hate.)
What in your opinion is the worst episode of Friday night dinner?
For me it's 'the girlfriend' the episode felt like adam torture.
How did you feel about the episode with Wilson's passing?
reddit.comWhat’s the worst thing that every member of the main cast has done?
Just thinking about those “worst thing X character has done“ posts you see a lot on Reddit. What’s the worst thing that Adam, Jonny, Jackie, Martin & Jim have done?
Adam - Getting Jonny in trouble with his boss
Jonny - Getting married at his friend’s stag
Jackie - Physically hurting Martin after his dream with Lady Di
Martin - everything with The Caravan
Jim - Being a creep with Jackie in the earlier episodes
What do you think? Anything I missed? Any characters I should add?
London is a smashing place
Been to Buckingham palace?
I sewed buttons for Ruhtherfords. Ask me anything
I sewed buttons for Ruhtherfords. Ask me anything
What do you think mr morris did after the wedding
im just wondering
If Jackie and mr morris did the nippy nippy what would the child be like
I’m just wondering
If Jonny and horrible grandma had a child what would they be like
answer pls

The news made her out to be the victim
Why do the boys call val auntie
like if val and jackie aren’t sisters can someone pls explain
Guys riddle me this
why does Jim get shocked when both the boys girlfriends (females) are called Lucy and said something like “so your one person in different bodies” even tho he went out with someone called Jackie the same name as the boys mother? just been thinking bout this
Why is "females" used so frequently instead of "women" as of lately?
I thought that it was supposed to be denigrating because you usually say "females" when talking about animals. But I have started to see it all over the place on the internet, why is there such an uptick in the usage of this word? Especially since female is an adjective, so "females" is for the most part wrong or so I understood
Horrible Grandma
Am watching "carry on teacher" and up pops a very young and glamorous Horrible Grandma!
Something about the show that really irks me…
First of all - I love Friday Night Dinner. It’s really funny, the characters bounce off one another super well and it just really works as a show. However, there’s one aspect of the show that really bugs me.
Why does Jackie never get punished when she‘s clearly in the wrong? There have been many instances where Adam or Jonny or Martin gets punished for their wrongdoings, why not Jackie?
A few examples of Jackie clearly being in the wrong are in “The Loft” and “The Plastic Bag”. In The Plastic Bag she’s upset at Adam for not making his paper interview entirely about her and lords that over his head, and then proceeds to gang up on Jonny and put his coat in the tree for seemingly no reason other than to be cruel?? The Loft is even worse, where we learn she’s been physically hurting Martin for a week over a dream. That’s not addressed at all in the episode.
I like Jackie as a character, but she does some really awful things sometimes that go unpunished. That really annoys me.
Why did my smoked chuck roast come out so dry even though it was tender?
Smoked this chuck roast on my Weber Summit Kamado for about 14 hours at ~225–235°F. I used the slow and sear with the water trough filled and hickory chunks. I also dry salt brined 24 hours and applied generous amount of rub before starting the smoke. Fireboard charts of smoke attached and there are 2 probes in the same 12lb chuck roast. I never wrapped the chuck primal during the smoke—I just let it ride the whole cook unwrapped. It ended up tender, but dry. Also should mention I’m going for sliceable chuck roast.
Do you think:
- Not wrapping was the main issue?
- Did I simply cook it too long?
- Does it look overcooked from the photos?
The photo of the meat is after sitting in fridge overnight (sorry didn’t get a fresh photo).
