My property was deeded in 79’ and ten years later my neighbor had their property surveyed placing pins on my property despite my deed. The survey was never registered and owners held on to the paperwork. Fast forward 30 years. I now own the property with the same deed from 79’.
Recently, found surveyors on my property uncovering these pins. And now trying to claim this piece of my property. How legal is this? And the city is involved which have allowed these people to continue, even after my questions.
I know I should get my area surveyed myself but what are your thoughts. Thank you in advance.
