Erie is opening three cooing centers this week from 10 am to 4 pm, due to the hot temperatures.
Water donations can also be dropped off at any of these locations.
A few days ago I shared a news article about five tornados that touched down across NWPA on Sunday the 14th. Well now the NWS confirms Crawford County alone had four, totaling up to six tornados across NWPA.
To add to that, yesterday the 18th, it is possible Crawford County had yet another tornado. A video captured by Chief Nathan Walczak from the Cambridge Springs Volunteer Fire Department, shows what appears to a tornadic activity, not just a funnel cloud. The NWS will obviously make the final judgement.
This is getting insane.
Beach 6 was closed due to E. coli, yesterday the restriction was lifted but now has an advisory. Just be mindful. Every year several of the beaches get closed then reopened due to this.
The one local news website claims all 13 beaches are now open for swimming but Beach 10 (Budny Beach) is closed due to construction updates according to VistErie.

Finally confirmed now, on Wednesday 5 tornados touched down. Three tornadoes in Crawford County and one each in Warren and Venango counties.
