Room Size = 12 x 12 x 10 (office)

Application = Desktop use for media consumption (movies, FLAC music, spotify) and gaming

As per title, looking at getting some desktop speakers for my office. Currently using HD600s for all my needs driven by a JDS O2 Amp/Dac combo.

Would like something thats maybe getting into enthusiast tier? My hd600s can do the heavy lifting if I want technical listening, so I dont really need to match that objective performance.

Came across the speakers in title across my searches, all are reviewed pretty well at different price points. Would love to hear if im anywhere beyond point of diminishing returns with these, or other recommendations if you have them :)

Looking at my next laptop, heavily considering a MacBook air as the price for x86 hardware is just absolutely bonkers over the past year.

Basically, im wondering what windows hardware an m5 is equivalent to in crossover?

My use case would be casual gaming while traveling. Have a 5090/9850x3d rig at home so dont need this to do everything, but would like to play moderately taxing games on the go (Final Fantasy 15/16, Stranger of Paradise, DMC type of thing)

Edit: wow, tons of useful responses while I was at work. Thank you all!! Basically thinking of leaning towards a Z2E handheld instead based on my use case and keeping my old laptop (surface book) for any word processing/browsing i have to do while travelling. Greatly appreciated all!
