Concerned about weight gain
FTM here, I am currently 6 weeks and 3 days pregnant. My bowl movements have become extremely irregular sometimes im not going for up to 4 days! Havent changed my eating habits at all, but I am up 4 pounds already and im freaking the hell out.
I have maintained 135-138 lbs for the last several years, im 5'7. I was 137 when I found out couple weeks ago. Havent gone number 2 in 3 days now and I feel huge. Got on the scale this morning and im 141. Needless to say this has sent me into a bit of a spiral as I struggle with ed and body dysmorphia. Im horrified of gaining a bunch of weight during pregnancy and never getting back to my pre pregnancy weight.
Not sure how im going to manage the body dysmophia as my body goes through insane changes over the next year.... id like to keep my weight gain under 40 lbs but ive read alot of posts from people who gained as much as 100 lbs during pregnancy..... I lift weights and walk and so far have kept up on being active. No morning sickness as of yet... but im sure its coming... is there anyways I can manage weight gain and try to keep it under 40 lbs?
