Conflict with driver

I have been working as a preloader for just about 4 years now. On my assignment of 3 trucks, I have an issue with one of them. The driver for one of the trucks comes in almost daily and stays to rearrange his truck. He doesn't seem to care that I am not finished loading packages and sorting through smalls. This has been an on going issue which I have reported to the supervisor. The driver says he will move out of the way. But there are plenty of times I head in to load a package and the driver has packages pulled into the middle isle, doing his rearranging, and then I have to wait for him to put stuff back and move so I can continue loading. There will be times when I am loading the irregs and the driver just shakes his head like he's not happy where they are going so I'll ask if he doesn't want these loaded, which leads to him needing to check the addresses of all the irregs first. The truth is he likes to rearrange his truck first before I get the irregs in. A couple times I've had to pull the irregs out because the driver says they don't want these ones yet, when really, it's just so things are not in the way while organizing their truck. Some times the driver will barely get out of the way when I am trying to load.

I get that drivers may want to organize their truck. But when you come in on the regular an hour before the drivers leave (9am) and make my last hour of loading the truck difficult it gets extremely annoying.

The other day I finally told the supervisor that I was done with having to work around them. The supervisor came back and told me they were out of the truck and that I could finish. Of course when I go to finish the truck the driver is sitting up at the front and at times eyeing me while I try to finish the two smalls bags. And then what happens, he starts rearranging the front of the truck and moving some of the irregs around to where I cannot even get to the front of the truck. I was confused since the supervisor told me he would be out of the truck so I could finish which was clearly not the case.

Now there have been times when this driver has been rearranging their truck and I am unable to get to an area in the truck to put a couple smalls packages where they go, so in the past I've set them on top of some irregs or a bigger box where I know the driver will see them and the driver has never had an issue putting the smalls where they go since I was unable to reach that area of the truck. BUT OF COURSE this driver was pissed that I told the supervisor and am over with them being in the way. SO...I finished the smalls while the driver was back to rearranging the front of the truck. I set 3 or 4 smalls packages on an irreg where I knew they would see them, since I was unable to get to that area of the truck and I knew the driver would see them. And what happens next...

The driver comes to find me a couple trucks down, let's me know that I need to put s%$t where it goes. Which I told them they were busy rearranging their truck so I did what I've done in the past, set them in sight, which I reminded them they have never had an issue in the past putting the smalls where they go since I was unable to access that part of the truck. The drivers response, "well since you don't want me in my truck, you need to put s$%t where it goes" and then they stormed off.

This set me off and made me so frustrated. One, I'm a good loader. Drivers have let me know that. Two, this specific driver is already known to have a bad attitude upon arriving to work and unpleasant to deal with. And lastly, as a preloader I should be able to list my trucks without any extra obstacles that just slow me down.

We'll see how it goes moving forward since the union has become involved and the driver has been spoken to. I have no expectations.
