Final harvest
Last harvest of the year from my dwarf Meyer lemon tree.
Almost no flowers yet which is a little concerning (Northern California)…. But there is new growth.

Fava Bean Roots
I just harvested the last of my fava beans and am going to take them out. They are supposed to fix nitrogen in the soil but do they only do that if you leave the root nodules in the ground?
How do you deal with removing your fava beans?

Worth saving?
Was cleaning out the side yard that I had ignored for months and discovered one of my mini bells wasn’t actually dead…
Should I save it? If so anything else I should do besides fertilizer and throwing some compost on top?
