Borrowed a ScaleSync from the club to do some speed matching on a test track. Based on my previous loop post I knew the locos were way to fast but I didn’t think a stock Kato and Digitrax decoder would run 212 mph scale. Slowed them down to run between 0-100 based on the throttle.

Finished getting a Unitrack Time Saver layout setup on a laser cut base. All the wiring is tucked in underneath so all you have to do it take it out to where lever you want to switch cars around and plug in a controller. Now all I need to do is find some 40’ cars and make some cards to say where they need to go.
After doing some signal work at the Bakersfield GEHAMS club I decided to pull some Autoracks over our Tehachapi Loop.
Had some fun this weekend at the Bakersfield GEHAMS Club with a new to me BLI Heavy Pacific and new Kato tank cars. A little bit of blasphemy with a Pacific pulling modern freight but I needed to do some testing.
