Purchased an S1 Max and have had no end of problems with clogging. The support I've gotten from AC started out very poor, but has improved since I told them I want to return the printer.

I'm using what I believe to be quality filament - PLA and ASA so far. Both filaments have printed without ANY issue on my Bambu P1S and P2S.

I initially opened the ticket after (I thought) successfully clearing a clog after switching from PLA (about 2kg printed with no issue) to ASA for a small print. After clearing the clog and using the extrude function to verify that flow was good, even and steady, I started a PLA print (gave up on the ASA and printed it on my P2S). Watched most of the first layer and left the room. Shortly thereafter I heard a loud thunk, and when I came to check, I found the print head cover had been pulled off and squished against something to the point where it would no longer latch back in place - and the extruder had clogged again.

Opened the ticket asking about the clog problem and reporting the damaged cover. They ignored the clogging problem and opened a request to send me a new cover...

Revisited the original ticket and complained about the clogging being ignored and asked about the silicone duct for the side fan - which they gladly requested for me. Why it wasn't originally requested when I complained about the clogging is another matter.

Got past that clogging problem (or so I thought) and went on to print about 6kg worth of PLA with no issues. Let the printer set unused for about 4 days, and when I tried to once again print simple PLA, an obvious clog as seen above.

Fed up, I opened a ticket to return the printer.

Then they finally stepped up and started paying attention to my problem. At this point, their current offer is some cash back and help from a senior technical engineer to resolve my issue.

They're trying, even if a bit late in the process, and I do like the large build plate size. Not impressed with some of the design issues, but I can live with their shortcomings.

So I'm on the fence... I can probably get them to 1) increase the money offer and 2) reset the satisfaction warranty period to allow me to be as certain as I can be that the problem has been resolved.

The biggest stumbling point for me is that I don't really care to be their "tech in the field".

I have had ZERO clogging issues with my Bambu printers with literally thousands of hours and hundreds of kilos of filament - PLA, PLA+, PETG, HF PETG, ASA, TPU 95, 90 and 85 - none of them caused clogging.

Based on my experience with the Bambu units, I'm of the opinion that nobody should have to routinely deal with clogged extruders, and it appears that's what I'm facing with this unit.

So - finally - what are other's experiences with severe clogging problems vis-a-vis the support (and hopefully solutions) that were provided by AC?

Thanks in advance.
