I know this sub will get flooded with tons of EwB posts with the new episode just dropping… so I’ll kick it off 😄😄

After reading the novel and the 3 specials after .. this is for sure my favorite novel adaptation to date. Even though it really doesn’t follow the novel for the most part, it definitely keeps many of the beats and characters core traits … but this series definitely did its own thing and I LOVE THAT THEY DID!! 👏🏽👏🏽 👏🏽

Every scene they gave us for the most part was intentional from the start of the show… I loved how they used the flashbacks in this episode, the callbacks felt timely and it was nice to see their love story juxtaposed to the words Wine said during that intense/ dramatic meeting scene. You can tell this script was very thought out … I even enjoyed the villain reveal along with finding out who the milk tea 🧋 thief was 😄😄… I am grateful JanJingJing got this project as their first real project, Jan’s acting is top tier and JJ is holding her own. I’m so excited to see how it ends and i would really enjoy if they did the specials as a second season ( similar to how Blank had 2)

Either way I’m excited for any new project they get to do together or separate JanJingJing you’ve got a Stan for lyfe!!!!!!
