With all the frustration surrounding the recent Riven nerfs, I'd encourage everyone not to be afraid of experimenting with new ways to play her. If Riot takes away our damage, add it back yourselves. Riven doesn't control us—we control Riven.

I'm the degenerate who plays Hail of Blades every game, and I've been having a lot of fun building Collector. It's an item designed for champions who need that extra push to finish off targets.

You might say, "But Riven already has an execute." Does she really? How often do we actually use R2 to kill enemies that are below 200 HP? Not that often, I'd argue.

GrandMaster EUW Riven Guide

Hi everyone!

I'm a Grandmaster Riven player on EUW and I've been playing Hail of Blades in around 90% of my games with a very assassin-oriented playstyle.

I recently published my first guide on Onetricks.gg, and I'd really appreciate it if you could check it out and let me know what you think.

The recent Riven nerfs have definitely been significant, and they're reflected in her overall win rate. That said, my own win rate hasn't been affected too much so far, mainly because this playstyle focuses on maximizing burst damage and snowballing games.
