Neo 16s AI 5070ti crashing every single day while gaming.

Welp I’ve made a couple posts about the Neo 16s I picked up about 3 months ago. Everything was fine until about a month ago when i started randomly crashing while playing. Mid game it would crash and give me a “your computer ran into a problem and needs to restart” with a MEMORY_MANAGEMENT error followed by a bsod.

I have tried a lot of fixes.

Have everything set to discrete gpu only, updated bios, ran a windows memory diagnostic which found nothing, repaired corrupted system files, physically reseated the ram, a performed a clean drivers installation via ddu. No luck.

im under warranty but afraid to send it off for 2 reasons. First I’ve heard so many times about sending it off for a simple fix and it being gone for months and months, sometimes returned unfixed. And the second, when working well, my particular laptop runs strangely cool. Like I’m getting good performance while cpu and gpu are maxing at 70c (I’ve made posts about my low temps).

Have any of you had these same crashes and found a fix or do I have to send it off to acer?

appreciate any insights.

Neo 16s - Is there no way to disable hyper threading in advanced bio menu?

5070ti Neo 16s. Need to turn off hyperthreading for a specific task. Cannot find any way to do it in bios.

Seems like so many options and setting I had on my last Acer just don’t exist on this one. Tf kind of gaming pc doesn’t support undervolting?

So I made a post a couple weeks ago about some problems I was having with my new 5070ti Neo 16s. Got them all sorted out and everything is running smoothly since.

The reason for the post is, I see a lot of people complaining about high temps. However, my system seems to be running very cool. Like I run mine exclusively in performance mode as I heard turbo can cause some issues, but I’ve never once seen cpu or gpu go above 65 degrees Celsius, and most of the time it stays almost exactly in the 59-62 degrees range.

I have it on a llano v12 cooling pad, and run it at 500rpm (lowest speed you can choose is 300rpm and it goes all the way up to 2800rpm)

On my old Helios 300 with a gtx1060 I had to run it at 1500 rpm to keep it under 90 degrees.

I know cool temps is the opposite of a problem, but I’m wondering if it running so cool means I’m missing out on performance. Going from a 1060 to a 5070ti makes it hard to know if I should be getting better performance because even if the 5070ti was running at half efficiency it would still blow away my old setup so it’s hard for me to know if I should be getting better performance.

Non issue or is it a valid concern?
