PC locals remember the overturning of Roe vs Wade

Four years ago today, the landmark case of Roe vs Wade, which gave women constitutional rights to make decisions about their own bodies, was overturned.  Today’s message on the bridge applies to everyone – whether it’s about your reproductive rights or your right to decline a vaccination.

Park City locals are not happy about rising costs and inflation

There are a lot of wealthy people in Park City. And there are also a lot of people here who commute to work, work 40+ hours a week to make ends meet, and don't have a trust fund in their back pocked. You know, average, normal people.

Park City locals expressed their concerns about data centers

The Box Elder Data Center will be larger than Manhattan and use more power than the states of Utah and Nevada combined. It'll raise the night-time temperatures by 8-10 degrees. The Great Salt Lake is dying. We have a state-wide water emergency. Even a closed-loop water cooling system uses a significant amount of water.

After years of sacrifice, early mornings, long shifts, and late night study sessions, Lisandro was days away from walking across the stage at the University of Utah. But on the morning of April 29, 2026, on his way to his first day at a new job, with class scheduled right after his shift, Lisandro was detained by ICE agents during an operation in the Park City and Heber area that shook our entire community. He is now at an ICE detention center in Evanston, WY.
