Why is Jeune École treated like the “neutral” Navy Model?
Something that strikes me as a bit odd is that any ideology that has an opinion on the navy model, is neutral towards Jeune École. Even Jingoist approves of diplomatic fleet while neutral towards jeune école, (shouldn’t this be flipped?) Bonapartist equally approves of Capital and Diplo while neutral towards jeune, etc.
Jeune École isn’t a reasonable center, compromise policy. It was a radical strategic concept that French naval theorists came up with in an attempt to counter the British royal navy. As a law, it makes more sense to me that it would be treated on par with, if not a close second to, Capital Fleet because that’s essentially what it was: an alternative to the traditional battleship supremacy doctrine. If anything, diplomatic fleet should be the moderate option.
What do you guys think? Does Jeune École make sense where it currently sits ideologically or gameplay-wise? Did the devs explain their reasoning for this?
