In my SaaS restaurant product. We have a kitchen mobile app (React native), a admin dashboard (React) and a landing page. It supports multiple organizations. And I have to implement websocket connection so that I can send real time updates to my frontends from my django backend. In the kitchen mobile app there is a particular use case that whenever a new order arrives I have to show a popup to kitchen staff prompting them whether to proceed with the order. So real time is needed here. But the question is, what approach I should take. A) Send a even label “new_order” to kitchen app along with order_uuid, listen for that using native websocket and show modal and call the order detail API. B) Send the new order payload to frontend via websocket and show it in modal to reduce API call. I wanna know which method is secure, recommended in this eco system.
