I'll probably be moving to Mezhathoor soon for work, and I'm curious about what life there is actually like.
I'm the kind of person who gets excited about old houses, paddy fields, quiet roads, good tea, and places where nothing much seems to happen. I'm an artist, so I don't really need a busy town I'd happily spend an evening sketching under a tree.
So... is Mezhathoor as peaceful as it looks? What do people love about living there? Any hidden spots, local food, or little things that make the place special?
Also, if I end up becoming the person who's always walking around looking at trees, will people just accept that's my personality? 😅

I’m looking for something that offers healthy meals to help me hit my protein goals something like chicken and rice.
I found one service here, but I’m not really satisfied with it.

Me and my family (including kids and elderly) are travelling to Ettimadai and we have to be there for 2 days. Since it is not possible to stay in Ettimadai, we are planning to stay in Palakkad and go to Ettimadai and comeback in the evenings . I don't have any idea about the place so can you all please suggest a few good 3-4 star hotels which is family friendly and hygienic.

This place is called Vamala, and not many people know about it. It’s a short but adventurous trek to the top of the hill, with beautiful trails all the way up.
Once you reach the top, you’re rewarded with a breathtaking 360° view of lush greenery stretching across the Western Ghats. It’s one of those views you simply won’t find anywhere else.
There’s also a small temple at the summit where you can stop and pray. The cool breeze at the top makes the whole experience even more peaceful and unforgettable.
