sending big big hugs in advance.
As a woman in her mid-20s, lived whole life in the rural part of Palakkad, the greatest fear I've ever known is pregnancy and Motherhood. I never want to experience it in my lifetime ever.
But from a culture that constructs motherhood as a woman's highest purpose, It always feels like a fight against the loss of my body, my autonomy, and ultimately, myself, for not choosing to be a "mother". What if the thought of pregnancy has always inspired terror rather than anticipation?
For those who have chosen to remain childfree, how did you create boundaries, preserve your autonomy, and resist the relentless pressure to conform? How can you run from this nightmare to build a life away from it?
Rainy days are finally here🌧️ I need a grip to not spiral into depression and kms, felt like drawing something from today, long time after (not an artist).
Gimme some ideas(not good in realism) that i can work on (will be posting updates here) so that i can survive the sad days. (Hugs to those going through the same. 🫂Tc :))
Does anyone remember this epic tree near Pokkanchery beach? Used to sit here and watch the waves. Kazhinja pravishyam poyappo saw it succumb to death. I haven't returned since 😔
Traveled through cultures, where the scale of women smoking (public smoking is unlawful for all) fluctuates between Cool, Tolerable and Strictly a Character flaw.
I've see men and women claiming smoking isn't feminine and makes women ugly.
How does Palakkad views it? Is it an extreme NO?
Where will you locate the smoking women in the moral compass? Will it be considered as a character flaw? Why?
