Hi all!

Hoping you can give some advice/ insight for this bag.

Well, she came back from her custom paint job and was PERFECT! I used her a few times and noticed her paint was a little tacky, but didn’t think too much of it since it’s summer and hot here. Then one day I took her out, mind you was still within about a month of getting her back, and I noticed that she was all discolored on her paint job. 😭😭😭

I reached out to the artist, who suggested I send it back so she could touch it up. She said she used a varnish and a plastic coating (on top of the Angelus paints) originally and that may have been what I had discolored. I sent the bag back, she touched it up and sent it back and I got it this week. It looks good again, isn’t tacky at all, but she did mention she did not seal at this time.

My question now is should I leave well enough alone, or should I seal it myself? I’ve done a few projects for fun myself to try out painting and sealed all of them with Angelus Matte acrylic finisher. None of them yellowed in the few months since I did them.

Has anyone done any paint jobs like this? Did you seal? What did you use? Thoughts???

Ugh- so the much anticipated baby blue Celine had a defect 😭😭😭😭. TS (Doris) sent it back to JXG and now it’s out of stock.

Two other TS (Reykay and Allen) say they can get from JXG and that it IS in stock but the price is $60 more than original sale price.

One new TS ( Mina) says they have mid tier from Baishun Factory and that it’s in stock and less than the original sale price form the first seller.

What do I do????? Refund and forget? Pay more and go with sellers I have worked with before? Take a risk go with mid tier and new seller?? The decision paralysis is killing me. I just wanted a cute blue bag 🫣🫣

Friends, it’s that time again… it’s my annual “I need a miniature blue bag that doesn’t fit my lifestyle or needs at all obsession.” 🤪🫣🤦‍♀️

These two cuties have been on my radar for over a year. No one I’ve reached out to has the Teen Nino (which is more my wheelhouse shape wise ) but the Tilly has such a fun cute shape (seller says best for this color is JXG) and is on sale right now.

Do you have one? Both? Which do you prefer and why? I’ve seen both rehomed recently and dwaddled due to aforementioned size issue and am now regretting it as I’m fully back on my bullshit. I’ve been trying really hard to be less impulsive but these teeny tiny blue cuties keep calling me.

I need help! Someone please sell me one, tell me which or take my money away 🤣🤣🤣

Had to share somewhere it would be appreciated!!! My vintage 1999 Speedy 30 just got a custom makeover and I’m obsessed 😭

I originally sold my old Speedy 30 last year after not using it for ages, but the SECOND I shipped it out I regretted it. Around that same time I started seeing DIY videos of people adding D-rings so they could shoulder-carry their bags, and I knew I needed another one.

I ended up finding this cutie for a steal, cleaned her up, DIYed the D-rings myself, and used mink oil to patina the strap so it matched perfectly. I’ve been carrying her nonstop since last summer.

But I kept thinking about the Mon Monogram collection and whether I should customize mine too. I finally found an amazing artist and sent her off… and she came back today.

OH. MY. GOSH.

I am absolutely floored by how adorable she turned out. I love that this 27-year-old bag gets a whole new life now, and hopefully another 30 years of adventures 🥹🤎💜
