Safe reputable vets who will spay a cat in heat? Recommendations please.
I know the general rule is to wait a few weeks after a heat cycle before spaying a cat but I also read that some vets will spay a cat during a heat cycle as there's a variety of opinions about the best way to do it.
I have been trying to wait until a few weeks after the cycle because I rang around local vets and they all said that's their way of doing things, however, it is proving impossible.
My cat is honestly never out of heat for more than a few days at a time, she's been like this for months and I have no opportunity to have her spayed because she's never out of heat for long enough. By the time I've waited the required couple of weeks she's back in heat again. She is never out of heat for more than a few days / week max.
It's becoming a problem because she is so loud when in heat and I worry about the neighbors, not to mention that it's just putting strain on the household in general with the noise and the spraying. It has been like this since we adopted her.
I'm looking for recommendations please. Can anyone recommend a reputable vet that will spay a cat while she is in heat? I'm willing to travel. Thanks
