Hi , So I am considering JKLU , Jaipur for bdes , I have booked my seat there , but I am still in confusion whether to join or not. To give you a context , I couldn't clear NID and UCEED , and getting only 25% scholarship in JKLU.
Most of the people in my family are not aware about design and neither people of my city , so there is no one I know whom I could consult to .

Also , I attended a workshop at JKLU recently , and tbh I really liked the overall atmosphere , I even talked to some seniors (both Btech and Bdes) and they told me that design is the best course in this college and that some of their design seniors did internship at companies like nike and puma.
One thing that everyone told is that you will have to do a lot of hardwork as a design student and sometimes that might even frustrate you , the teachers are also strict about assignments and jury and all that. So overall , I felt a somewhat positive vibe

But , the problem comes about fees , the 25% scholarship is valid only for the first year and to continue the scholarship or even increase the scholarship , I will have to maintain a very good CGPA (atleast 8.5+) , and this is something which is giving me confusion . On one side it is positive that I will study and work harder for that scholarship , and another side is negative , that what if I couldn't get a scholarship , then what? Considering that I will have to take an education loan . When calculated the total fees , if I do my best will end up around 15-16 Lakhs , which is obviously not a less amount. And even the placement part is confusing where everyone is saying ki design me placement mushkil se lagti hai , should I take this risk?

The other option that I have for me is Gujarat University , it is a govt college and the fees is comparatively less , but the course there are not interesting
