Hello! I had my lumpectomy today. I’m 14 hours post op and have minimal pain. Mind you I’ve had 2 tramadol and a nerve block. Shouldn’t the nerve block have worn off? I have fatty breasts size 42 F. I’m not complaining about minimal pain just wondering if I should be prepared for it to get worse.
I posted something earlier and a few times. Has anyone had a biopsy diagnosis of a fibroadenoma come back as cancer? I was a BI-RADS 5 and my biopsy came back as a fibroadenoma. I read in my other post ADH can come back as DCIS… I have a lumpectomy tomorrow and am worried not much but some
I had a thyroid US today. My right side is visibly larger and I have swollen lymph nodes near by. There is a mass under 10mm that had blood flow. The radiologist report red everything is fine. Should I get a 2nd opinion?
I had a thyroid ultrasound 12 years ago. Right side more enlarged than left. My isthmus is 5mm mildly thicker. I had a 9mm complex nodule on my left. I have enlarged lymph nodes and now my right side is noticeably bigger. I never really gave my thyroid much thought until now and I’m noticing some ear pain on the right side when I look down. Worried what they’ll find tomorrow. How common our thyroidectomy?
Hello! I recently (4/29/26) had a breast ultrasound. The US read Bi-RADS 5z my doctor and other doctors advised me to be prepared that I have a 95% chance of BC. The biopsy revealed fibroadenoma. My surgeon offered me a lumpectomy which I’m taking. I’m still worried as I’m reading they can find BC inside the fibroadenoma.
