I called into the fraud department—rep was awesome and did a great job about a CC application.
I had a separate referral question and she transferred me to a new rep. That new rep asked me for a texted code. I provided this (but the text says DO NOT share this code). She then proceeded to tell me she couldn’t verify my info and I would need to call back.
Was this a scam? Does she now have access to my account?

I have a rental property that is managed by a third-party. I drove by yesterday and saw that two beautiful healthy trees out front had been completely chopped down. I have no idea when they were chopped down -- or who chopped them down. I sent an email to my property manager (but they are generally slow to respond). This property just changed tenants last week -- and the property manager completed work there in Q1. (So they would have seen that they were chopped down).
Is it worth pursuing legal advice? I wouldn't know who to go after -- the old tenant or the property manager. But I guess this is for the lawyer to help me with? I'm pretty bummed! I will eventually move back into this house -- or sell it. But in general I'm just pissed off that someone thought it was ok to chop down two gorgeous trees.
