also in addition to that i saw that incense and candles were prohibited but can i bring a candle warmer?

i got assigned a single room in woodstock and it says there’s single user washrooms but i literally can’t find anything showing them. they only mention and show communal washrooms??

like obviously not word for word but let’s say a sentence in a paragraph comes out as ai will i be in trouble? cus i should probably start working on my writing skills for my electives. (im in life sci so obviously creative writing isn’t my strong suit)

i had dorm selection yesterday, and hedden and mckay were available. i love hedden rooms but i know their bathrooms are old and with mckay i know its super social and renovated bathrooms but no ac. (ik now that no ac is not a big deal) anyways i went with whidden because it seemed like it had what both of those didn’t and now im kind of regretting not choosing mckay. i like the rooms so much better and idk if its just the tiktoks im seeing but i don’t rlly like whidden. the whidden rooms are big but dont look too good at all, i dont like the bed placements and also doesn’t seem like it has a lot of natural light. can someone pls tell me how their experience at whidden was? also every time i post on here i get flamed so pls just dont be rude

i know people are annoyed with first years on here talking about their dates but if you have already gone through the process, do courses actually fill up quickly on the first day or are you very likely to get the schedule you created for yourself even if you have a later time slot? because there’s no way that many people picked the exact time for the exact classes since there’s like a thousand different options for how your schedule can look.

Hi can any second or upper year students let me know how to plan my schedule as best as possible? i am NOT a morning person so I immediately blocked off 8-9 am. But im not sure if i should leave space in between my classes or get them done all at once. Or, if i should leave for example a friday empty because i can have that option both semesters. what do you guys reccomend? Space out classes or keep them together to get done quickly? only issue with that is i usually like to go over things right after learning them to make sure they stick and i feel like i might get overwhelmed with info if i do everything back to back. Also should have tutorials back to back? i also dont know what tutorials are so please lmk!

but can some second years please rank the res buildings or atleast tell me what to absolutely avoid. also between mckay and whidden, which one is better. i feel like these are my best bets right now. both have similar types of rooms but which is near more things, more social, etc. please help me i’m defeated

can someone tell me everything i need to know about residence at mac?? my top options right now are pgcll (obv) and les prince hall. the only reason for these are i want a single room and my own bathroom, i don’t care if i have to share the bathroom with one other person. butttt, i do know that these are hard to get, pg especially. so i wanna know everything i can do to cop one of these, but then also, what to choose if i don’t get one of these. if possible can you guys share what res you were at and how you liked it, some pros and cons, etc. the only thing that i definitely don’t want is someone in my room im sorry but i need my personal space.
