What's your daily driver flight sim setup?

Going through the Beta applications and the range of kit in use, I am curious what everyone's flying with these days as there main "daily driver" stuff they use.

Are you rocking a simple joystick and throttle, a yoke setup, VR, head tracking, full home cockpit, or something in between?

What's your current daily driver setup and is there anything you're hoping to upgrade next?

We're Looking for New A2A Beta Testers for PC

We're currently refreshing and expanding the A2A beta team and are looking for new testers to help shape future simulations and updates to existing products.

We're looking for members of the community who regularly use MSFS 2024 and/or MSFS 2020, can provide constructive feedback, actively participate during testing periods, and can maintain confidentiality regarding unreleased products and features.

We're interested in building a beta team that represents the wider flight simulation community, from keyboard and mouse users and basic joystick setups through to fully equipped home cockpits. Previous beta testing experience and real-world aviation experience are welcome but not required.

While applications are open to everyone, priority may be given to active members of the A2A community across our forums, Discord server, subreddit, and other community channels.

Active beta team members are provided access to A2A products required for testing, including current products, updates, and future releases while they remain active members of the beta team.

If you'd like to help shape the future of Accu-Sim, we'd love to hear from you.

Application Form:

Applications close on 8th June 2026.

Comanche in the Bush! - Community Shout out

A2A community member Gutchess shared this fun little video landing the A2A Accu-Sim Comanche 250 out in the bush.

If you’ve never taken the Comanche into smaller rough strips before, maybe this is your sign to give it a try this week. You might be surprised how well it handles it for a low wing aircraft 😉

Could be:

  • beautiful scenery
  • terrible weather
  • a great landing
  • complete chaos
  • or just a shot you really like

Next Saturday we’ll pick one of our favourites and the winner will receive a $20 discount coupon for anything on the A2A Store:

What’s your flight sim comfort food equivalent?

For me its, Accu-Sim Comanche 250 + partly cloudy/day + Touch and Go's at the local IRL airfield in the sim.

What's your flight sim comfort food or go too relax time when in the sim?

Accu-Sim Comanche S-TEC autopilot and GPSS tutorial

Reposting this one for anyone flying the Accu-Sim Comanche 250.

In this tutorial, Michal walks through how to use the S-TEC autopilot, including the new GPSS functionality in the native MSFS 2024 version.

Useful for newer Comanche pilots, or anyone wanting to get more out of the aircraft.

As always, the Accu-Sim systems are modelled outside the default sim logic, so the behaviour has its own real-world quirks and responses.

Not flying in flight sim, anyone else?

Adulting being what it is, sometimes you only get 10–15 minutes to yourself. Not enough time for a full flight… but enough that you still feel like jumping in.

I’ll be honest, I quite enjoy just loading up an Accu-Sim aircraft and messing around with the engine for a bit, playing with starting and running up etc. Am I alone in the weirdness of starting flight sim without actually having a plane or time to fly?
